When This Is Over

Though I'm not leaving for another two months, it feels like my time in Zambia - at least in terms of doing anything useful - is just about over. I'm off to Tanzania on Friday and won't be back in Lusaka until the new year, at which point I'll really be looking forward to coming home, February weather be damned.

Planning an overland trip across a continent that practically dares you to try; applying for grad school; helping JHR develop a plan for future trainers in Zambia; dreaming about having my own kitchen with really good knives and cooking implements - that lame duck feeling has crept up on me like the holiday season, bringing a similar sense of bewilderment and 'needing to get things done before it's too late.'

Ugh, some spam parasite. You'd think Google-owned Blogger could weed these things out.

Dude.
What do you mean, "when this is over"?!

Want me to try and find some Zambia CAN2008 merch for you?
